 About Me |
I'm an independant artist. All my work is produced in my studio 'The Attic' and exhibited in Old Cromwell Town. I am passionate about painting and it is my sanity after a full day with my 18 month old. I am an Australian living in beautiful New Zealand, which I love and find very inspiring.
I have been exploring the reaction of mediums and using burning tecniques alongside carving. The completed artworks are random and unpredictable as the heat from the flame changes the colour and texture. When ever I produce something I really like I can never seem to reproduce any of the same textures or colours. This just pushes me to work harder on my next piece to see what new things I can create and learn.
Most of my artworks pictured are for sale or are sold. At present I am selling a majority of my art online through Trademe which is one of my favorite sites. I'm happy to take commisions for new artpieces and can be contacted at jodyreynolds@orcon.net.nz.
