About me
Born in Kuwait to a Serbian father and German-Polish mother – Sonja Miokovic sometimes feels she was born into a cross-cultural experiment. She's has lived tucked away in the rainforest, build a schoolhouse from scratch sans power tools, conducted research in Havana, traveled extensively throughout Europe and sailed the South Seas.

She has a reputation for being irresistibly positive and is known to possess a sharp set of creative problem solving skills. Her flexibility and resourcefulness have proven that all challenges are resolvable and with grace.

With a background in journalism and knack for media relations, creativity is her forte. Her portfolio holds multiple works in the communication field – from the director of communications for the Toronto Alternative Arts and Fashion Week to the Assistant Editor of SASSON magazine, and the Managing Editor of Polonez, a Polish multicultural newspaper.

Before embarking on the experience of a lifetime, onboard the Ship for World Youth as a Canadian delegate, she called Clean Sheet Communications home. As Creative Project Manager, she focused on strategic and creative development. Her clients include: The Jane Goodall Institute, Sun Life Financial, Elections Ontario, Canadian Liver Foundation and the Chinese Lantern Festival.

Sonja collects languages, books and plane tickets. This Spring is off to Freiburg, Germany to pursue a masters degree in Global Studies.
