 About Me |
Michael Manulak founded Greenpower Canada at Michael Power/St. Joseph High School in October 2001 and altered the school’s operations through ambitious and energetic leadership. Within months, the group was among the most active youth environmental organizations in the country. Michael served as the organization’s Executive Director from 2001-2007 and helped build Greenpower into an effective international conservation and development organization. He currently sits on Greenpower’s Board of Directors.
This autumn Michael will commence doctoral studies in International Relations at the University of Oxford. He has won numerous academic awards and fellowships including the Canadian Social Science and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellowship, the Mackenzie King Travelling Scholarship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and the Lester B. Pearson Memorial Award.
