À propos de moi

Michael is currently studying Political Science at the University of Toronto and is working towards a Bachelor of Arts studying global politics.

Michael founded Greenpower while in his final year at Michael Power/St. Joseph High School on October 22nd, 2001 and radically altered the school’s operations through ambitious and energetic leadership. Within months, the group was among the most active and engaged youth environmental organizations in the country!

Michael joined the National Board of Directors of Canada’s Youth Environmental Network (YEN) and strove to unite youth environmental organizations across Canada. His participation in the early stages of the YEN helped establish a viable environmental network across the country.

Michael has worked for six years as a leader of "Street Patrol" a program that leads groups of citizens through the streets of Toronto, feeding and conversing with the homeless.

He is currently Executive Director of Greenpower Canada and is leading the charge for a more sustainable and equitable global society. Michael is a regular speaker at a number of environmental conferences and functions.
