 About Me |
I am from the Sayisi Dene First Nation, our traditional territory spans across Northern Manitoba and Southern Nunavut in Canada.
I am the first of my family to be born in British Columbia, where I've been a guest for many years.
I work in the Urban Aboriginal Community for my local Friendship Centre, where I enjoy working with Youth doing a culture based program. I've also done many advocacy roles, which have brought me to Guatemala on an Indigenous Youth exchange, and all around Canada.
I love learning about other cultures and languages and hope to travel to many other countries with my children as they grow.
I have 2 young children. They are daily reminders of why I love to do the work that I do for our community.
