Over Mij

I was born in South Africa, my family migrated to Australia when I was three years old. I have lived most of my life in Perth, Western Australia.

I have work for the Youth Employment Summit (YES) in Boston, USA (www.youthemploymentsummit.org). The Youth Employment Summit recently launched a â€œDecade Campaign of Action, so that an additional 500 million young adults, especially youth facing poverty, will have productive and sustainable livelihoods by the year 2012."

The Youth Employment Summit has many young people involved in YES Country Networks who work together to raise awareness of the issue of youth employment in their countries. Please visit the Youth Employment Summit website to find out how you can play an active role in your YES Country Network.

Prior to YES I worked for the Western Australian Department of Training in the area of Youth Employment. The Department of Training promotes employment, vocational education and training opportunities. (www.training.wa.gov.au).

I enjoy working with disadvantaged and inner city youth to develop their skills and enhance opportunities for employment. I am passionate about the issue of Youth Employment and enjoy working with others to increase the level of youth employment around the world.

I now reside in Los Angeles and I am an Actress with my own production company. I am currenlty developing a documentary entitled "Grandaughters". Will need your help soon for some reseach and ideas.
