 About Me |
Our planet needs to change. People have to be more conscious of the impacts of each single gesture. Recently, I went to the Dominican Republic to do some relief work. It was an amazing experience. With this kind of trip, you realize that the world has to change. We helped a little village by building a cooperative. This business will help these people gain money and experience in this domain. The biggest venture there, was a corner store, so with our help, these people will be able to develop a little bit more the community's economic. Moreover, we built houses and it made us realize how people live in poverty and that a little gesture can make them happy.
I think poverty is a huge problem on earth and we should be more aware of it. Most of the people know about it, but not a lot of them do efforts to change it. Our generation should be more concerned about this kind of problem. As we saw it recently, it’s almost like we need a natural disaster, like in Haiti, to make other countries realize that a lot of people live in horrible conditions. I also think that a lot of countries have the money to help some others countries that are in poverty. So, that’s the problem that concerned me the most and I sincerely hope that one day, someone will find the solution to solve it, but meanwhile, we can try to help people as we can!
