I am head of "NUR" Children and Youth Public Union in Azerbaijan.“NUR” is a social union created on 1999 by the children’s own initiative on the bases of the common interest, volunteer works and the principle of equal rights of its members. The main aims of NUR are to contribute to solving the problems of young people and children, to increase awareness and improve knowledge of young people, to promote and demand respect for rights of young people and children and to promote and support youth participation.
“NUR” supports youth participation at the creating A WORLD FIT FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, EVERYONE. “NUR” has given to many children and young people the opportunity to have dream come true: TO PARTICIPATE AND BE LISTENED TO. NUR received Staying Alive Award in 2008 and 2009, and UNICEF-San Marino Child Award in 2010 in New York.
NUR is also one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Youth AIDS Coalition.
