About me
I am a 30 year old former youth activist from Germany. I founded YOIS (Youth for Intergenerational Justice and Sustainability) in 2000 - a youth-NGO striving for the interests of future generations and today's youth. YOIS organises informal political education projects (e.g. through conferences) with the aim of increasing the knowledge of youngsters around the issues "sustainability" and "intergenerational justice". After being President for 3 years and having organised several conferences & projects did I "retire" :) in 2003 and started a Masters program (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Resource Management of the TU München, Germany. At the moment I am writing on my masters thesis around the issue sustainability and banking.
My core interst is to bring us all closer towards a more sustainable path. Currently I am focus on what companies can do for sustainability, since I see a huge potential in their active committment as well as still a need on all sides to learn from each other which role business can play.
My hobbies are: dancing (e.g. Salsa), Snowboarding, Mountainbiking, meeting friends and colleagues from all over the World.
After being "retired" from my active youth time do I still see myself as a supporter of youngsters that want to change the world ;-) and wanna greet all the buddies and nice people whom I met around the world!
