About Me

I joined Taking it Global after becoming a part of the Youth Challenge International.

My main focus during my studies was philosophy and ethics - more specifically the ethics of sexuality, gender relations and feminism from an epistemological viewpoint.

My aim is to help women find a secure and equitable place in society - regardless of their gender, class or race. I hope that YCI will help me help women in this struggle for equity in Guatemala for June 2011.

More about myself, I enjoy couch time, watching tv or curling up reading a good book - fiction, or non fiction, I am very open minded. I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories.

I don't think I've found place my in the world yet, but I do know what I don't want, I just have to find out what I want. In 2011, I hope that Guatemala will be apart of the many stepping stones I will need for a better future.
