My name is Emmanuel John, residing in Hammond, Indiana. My telephone number is (219) 397-9761. I am a native of Haiti and a protestant minister, serving as Missions President of the 1st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Indiana, and the Haiti/US liaison for the Church Of God In Christ, Headquartered Memphis, TN. Jurisdiction of Haiti.
As you know, Haiti was struck with the worst devastation by a natural disaster, known to the world, leaving in the aftermath 230,000 dead (official count) and a possible 300,000 missing and presumed dead. I spent 25 days in Haiti after the earthquake and assisted in the relief effort, providing food, clothing, and hygiene items to the beleaguered people, and organization and interpretation service to a team of medical professionals that arrived for humanitarian purpose.
I welcome financial assistance to churches that have been destroyed or damaged in the earthquake of January 12, 2010.
