Over Mij

I am currently a political science major at Laurentian University. I am completing the final year of my Honours degree. I believe that furthering my education as much as I can will be a true asset for my adventures abroad.

I was supposed to go on my trip to Kenya last summer. We all know how that venture turned out. Now that things for the trip are in motion again, I find myself feeling nervous and excited to go on this trip.

I think what I am looking forward to the most is the different kinds of experiences I will have. The knowlege I will come back with about this country will be endless. Especially after what the people have just been through. The Kenya that we are heading to this summer is going to be obviously different than the one that we would have gone to last summer. In respect to that, I hope I can come back with a better understanding of what that means for the people who live there.
