About Me

To describe myself would be to describe the things I do and the things that I would like to do. Simply put, I try to help the people who deserve my help, and I try to help the environment because it deserves my help; this is an idea that I have had for a while now and one that I will most likely have for the rest of my life.

If my life were perfect, I would graduate from San Jose State University (SJSU) during May of 2007 and then go on to work at a business-related job for several years until I am able to pay off all my college loans, help my mom start up her own daycare center, and help support my family financially. I will then either attend psychology graduate school or begin one of my ultimate goals in life right away: to be involved in international relief work.

I am usually open-minded, I try my best to help those around me and make them feel at ease, and I try to prevent problems before they occur and alleviate distress when they present themselves. I believe that communication and understanding can solve more problems than the average person may think.

I am a vegetarian (trying to turn vegan) because I believe that animals do not deserve to be hurt just to satisfy a person's cravings for food. I am interested in creative writing - during high school, I had ideas of becoming a professional writer and thought that I would do that as my career. The environment has a special spot in my life, and I am in SJSU's Environmental Club so that I can make a difference in our environment. I also hold interest in nutrition - although I have not taken any college-level nutrition classes, I educate myself through alternative means. I try to be educated in various areas because knowledge is very important to me.
