About Me

I am a 24 year old male currently living in South Africa but raised up in Malawi.
I am assessing the contempary situation, in my once home country and intend to start up a mobile independant media source that in correspondance with organisations heading up projects, will be able to produce educational,awareness and behaviour changing videos. The videos would ideally be made in both chichewa(Malawi) and english versions and based upon materials developed by experienced volunteers as well as co - operating experts in specific fields (AIDS,agriculture,importance of trees and dietry issues etc.) The videos will be able to be screened practically everywhere to everyone, all that is required is a projector and a bed sheet really, power supply being that of solar when required.
I plan to muster worldwide coporate support for the supply of the equipment, that at this stage of technological development will be light and compact enough to carry in one unit.
The success of the my first video expedition will open the gates to a numerous amount of media students like myself, who could start being assigned throughout central Africa as required spreading this new form of effective education that does not require literacy which i know is a contempary problem.
