About Me

Hi, I am 22. I am a college student and I live in LA. I used to be a member of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations as a National Officer on Reproductive Health and AIDS. Besides, from 2000-2007 I was an active member of the Pan-Armenian "For Family and Health" Association (PAFHA). From 2004-2005 I worked as a coordinator of the Y-Peer Network Armenia & Web Page and from 2004 - 2007 I was working as a senior peer educator (trainer) also I was a member of the organization's Youth Committee, which members are actively involved in the desicion making process of the assocition.
In the NGO I was conducting informational seminars for young people on different topics of Sexual and Reproductive health, such as HIV/AIDS prevention, STIs, pregnancy, abortion, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, behaviour skills, human rights, as well as peer education in order to provide a more efficient and effective means of disseminating information on adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
Being a peer educator I 've participated in many national and international seminars, trainings, workshops and meetings.
I speak Armenian (native), English, Russian, and have a general comprehension of French, German and Spanish.
In my spare time I like to read, to spend time with my friends, also I love traveling.
