 About Me |
My full name is Louise Rebecca Chapman and it is only of recent years that art has really made an impression on who I am, and subsequently, what I do. My first years at senior school saw that I had a distinctive style, and a certain adeptitude in drawing and painting. Throughout this year, however, I have progressed massively and produced my first canvas pieces. I can only thank my past art teacher, Bids, for showing me what a little self belief can achieve. Bids has helped me prosper as a junior artist and has given me the confidence to succeed in my later career, whether in in Art & Design or any field of study. My style could well be described as neo-dada, though I would prefer to be left unbranded as I feel I haven't completely defined myself yet. My favourite artists include Paula Rego, Salvador Dali, Roy Licthenstein, Carravagio and Georges Seurat. I enjoy designing clothes, which may sound rather naïve, though I assure you it isn't. I am still young but I warrant you this, I will do well, I will succeed, and, more importantly, I have faith in myself; Bids, all thanks attributed to you xoxox
