The Little Scientist Club (the business) is a supplemental learning and edutainment center that engages today's children and youths to enjoy learning through HANDS ON involvement in science, robotics and hobby projects. Looknig for external funding to grow operations and start franchising in Canada and worldwide. Think of this opportunity as the name brand you may be familiar with like KUMON, SYLVAN, MADSCIENCE, etc. We are LITTLE SCIENTIST ! This type of supplemental educational program is generally very lacking in the current schooling system and/or curriculum. Our programs can help direct some of the positive energies in the little thinking gears to the practical component of building machines, creative artwork, application of science and technology as well as generally building up their confidence and social communication skills. Our workshops are fully supervised by experienced and energetic individuals and all workshops encourage the fostering of creativity, team work, social skills, organisational skills, interest in science, hobbies and entrepreneurship. Management, About Myself - Mr. Boytoys High Energy, Passionate, Entrepreneur, Mobile, Business Development, Grassroots, Detailed, Age 40, feels like 20 all the time. Father of 2 lovely girls (Jocelyn and Chloe) and married to my wonderful supportive wife Catherine. Immigrated to Canada in 2001. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Born in HK, educated in Australia (spent 9 years) studying in a private school (Aussie calls GRAMMAR SCHOOL) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a partially completed MBA (distance learning) which i undertook whilst working full time. In 1989, I went back to HK (where my family is) and start working with Hutchsion Telecom (now ORANGE) in their mobile data division and later in information services. Involved in all facets of content delivery, aggregation, mobile, financial information services, brought Compuserve to HK before Internet rush. Later started my first business in IVR and FOD services in HK back in 1992. and later went back to work for various telecom companies like New T&T, later headhunted to start off business development for a Taiwanese company which invested into Iridium and bid for various mobile licenses and real estates in Asia. In 1996, I started a few small dotcoms and that's when I was seconded to work as an expatriate in Taiwan and met my wife and in 1999, Jocelyn was born. I travelled extensively (in fact too much) in Asia Pacific just to develop the portfolio of telecom real estates for this company. Today, this company is Taiwan's largest mobile network operator which also operates a fixed network in "corrupted" Taiwan. In 2001, I left this high flying job and follow my passion to join a serial entrepreneur Andreas Gerdes in Malta for a 6 month contract to work with a well funded mobile incubator called iWorld Group and help led the technical team, business development started to raise fund at road shows back in Aug-Sep 2001 at Wall Street, NY (just before 9/11). 9/11 woke me up and I was at Singapore then when I decided to follow my wife's roots to Canada. In fact I fortfeit my Australian's resident status to come to Canada. I have now started one of the most fastest growing hobby and toy stores in ONTARIO, that promotes engineering, creativity and problem solving and is well known in the trade for that. This is the BoyToys - (well you may think, what do they sell, nah.. not those hot raunchy stuffs you are thinking now) :) LOL.) but the brand and buzz did work very well. Our BoyToys Slogan is "TODAY'S HOBBY MAKES FUTURE ENGINEERS" Hmm. just a reminder, we don't sell games or consoles.. We downplay the educational value for these games; but the spending is our target market. though.... and we are now growing to another business which I have tested and trued for 2 years.It is called LITTLE SCIENTIST INC, we are currently seeking external funding to fuel the growth of this operation. Financial Returns are awesome as we target the 20 billion educational enrichment programs spending, and will be more for worldwide. We are destined to grow into franchising this worldwide.
