About Me

I am a nurse and have been for 24 years. I have 3 children. Although we have managed to make it through alot of challenges and hardships we still have alot to learn. Even as an adult we should continue learning in ways that we possibly never even thought of. I personally think that we can learn alot from our youth as well as they from us.

One of the challenges I have faced as a mother has been learning ways to keep children interested in learning about and trying new things. Growing from the inside as well as the out. I'm was involved in the building of an organization called "HOPE" with another nurse however due to circumstances and such we both went our seperate ways and have since lost contact. Hope-Love.org I learned from her assists underprivileged countries with health care supplies and educational materials. As far as I know she still does this. She at that time had been to Africa and Ethiopia and was attending med school here in the states. I am hoping to eventually get into it more and start doing things for our own country as well. I also am a member of Amensty International and plan on becoming more involved with the Red Cross.

Update 01/04/2010: Happy New Year TiG! :) This year promises to be a productive and prosperous one with alot of hard work and fun. Some friends and I are involved in a project having to do with energy. We are also working on development and building of sustainable self sufficient facility or facilities for the elderly AND another friend and I are looking towards the day we will develop a large educational camp for kids to come to where they can learn about science and the environment as well as other issues. It all promises to be fun. There are so many things I want to do but I have to make myself slow down and take one day/thing at a time.
We're in the early planning stages and looking at grants and investors, regular and angel, to move forward.
