 About Me |
I am a 19 year old American. I grew up in the Midwest and really haven't seen much of the world yet, but it is my dream to get out there and discover the world! In the past two years I met a guy named Mahluli. He is a 23 year old Zimbabwean. We went to school together and soon become close friends...and soon after that we began dating. Mahluli has opened my eyes up to the rest of the world and inspired me to want to use the gifts God has given me to help change the world. I hope that through joining Taking It Global I will continue to grow and expand my horizons...and think outside of the box!
Right now I'm working on learning more about Zulu culture and would like to start learning how to speak Zulu, Ndebele, or Shona. (if you have any advice on how to learn please tell me)
I am also interested in learning more about "Invisible Children".
