About Me   About Me
Life is short, so enjoy it (some say). But while you’re at it, try and shape the world to your taste and vision. Shape it…but how? Well listen closely. First you have to see the world, not trough the media (such as television or internet), nor as a tourist. You have to live the way Muslims do, or Hindus, understand their culture. You’ve got to meditate as a Tibetan monk and feel the peace of mind. You got to live with all these people on the planet, to understand them and finally see the true face of poverty, war, religious conflicts, environmental problems, you name it.
There are so many problems to be solved, most of them have certain solutions, but some remain unsolved, even after centuries of struggle. Most of us are sheep, following around some other sheep without asking ourselves why we do it. And the others (very few of them in number) are wolves, happy to eat off the underdogs. Meanwhile, the helpless sheep eat their greenly patch of grass while the others get the wool off them, and so everybody seems to be happy. This metaphoric way of speaking seems quite childish, but the reality is much harsher.
In any case we should be aware of hidden realities around us. We shouldn’t wait for the news on the television to show us the world degrading. We should act, but even so we do nothing, I myself I did nothing at this point to change something about the way things are, I feel ashamed about it. I guess it’s never too late to stretch a hand and help somebody, or something.
“The Earth needs help” or “we are destroying our planet” as they say, by they I speak of environmentalists or politicians or others, but in a way our planet isn’t actually dying, we humans are meaningless for the planet. Nature will take care of itself. Tsunamis, earthquakes, wars, terrorism. It’s all there. Ready to bring balance and reshape the world so that other species may live on the surface of this globe. What we must understand, is that all this it’s not ours, we are just passing by. “Visitors” that’s what we are nothing more. The way we chose to live on, influences our time on this paradise. It is a paradise indeed. But most of us only see the ugly side, and that’s a shame…
