About me
Leon’s “Youth” Profile
Student of philosophy and life, social and private entrepreneur, father, son, friend . . . Seeking kind, beautiful, courageous, awesome friends with whom to create a revolution of hope and peace!
Over the last 15 years I have centered my work on understanding the theory and practice of social change (“development”), focusing on ways to leverage radical but peaceful change.
Conclusions and specific work so far focus on these key levers: youth participation, good leadership, knowledge diffusion, harnessing intangible capital, and using new technologies, esp. internet-based services & applications to build & sustain global networks of change agents, especially those with a substantive youth presence.
Social change is fundamentally linked to the degree of investment in, and action by, children, youth, and young adults in society. I have strong interests in personal and leadership development and in building communities of young leaders because this is central to peace and well-being in the years ahead. I look forward to meeting anyone who shares these passions!
Jallalla and Namaste!
