 About Me |
Hi, I'm Lauren, JHR's Domestic Programs Director. I manage JHR's School Chapter Program from our head office in Toronto.
I'm a recent Queen's University grad with a degree in International Development and History. While at Queen's I was actively engaged in a variety of human rights organizations, serving as deputy Social Issues Commissioner, vice-President of Queen's Amnesty International and a long term member of Educate Queer Issues Project. I am also strong supporter of alternative media, working in community radio and independent music. I'm honoured to have the opportunity to combine my two passions through my work at JHR.
