 About Me |
I am a volunteer for the victims of the eruption of Mount Merapi and cold lava flood of Mount Merapi. 4 months I have been assisting victims of disasters served until now. tens of thousands of people displaced nearly 2 months since the eruption of Mount Merapi. until now there are 4000 refugees still living in refugee camps because their homes lost and also the danger of a result of flooding by cold lava rivers that disgorge at Mount Merapi. I was with friends the other volunteers assisting victims of refugees for the management of a refugee. 4000 people are currently living in refugee camps with the assistance of volunteers. start of activities, dining, health and education. evacuation management we are doing now is assistance to children, health, eating, trauma healing, and also empowering the potential of refugees to economic improvement.
all activities related to refugees assisted by volunteers. in addition to children's education, health, meal, we help people with refugee community empowerment. community empowerment in mental aims to rebuild the refugee victims of the disaster that has been lost. that is by growing their potential to be developed further. for example there are some refugees who have expertise sculptors, painters, handicraft makers, we will all help to be able to develop their activities again. This activity is assistance to the refugees to be able to make their potential to grow up to produce a product that has artistic value and economy. These products will be marketed and sold me to some buyers. proceeds from the sale of products that will be returned to the refugees so that they can reach a more mature future
