 About Me |
I was born in 1985 in Ottawa, Ontario, but lived in Gatineau, Quebec for my first three years. Then, I moved to a small Franco-Ontarian community just in time to start pre-K. It's one of those towns where everyone pretty much knows everyone else, and it was a pretty good place to grow up, but, as my teens years moved along, so did my desire to go beyond the little town. But this wouldn't happen until my third year of University.
In the summer of 2006, I got this amazing chance to go to Europe (France, Germany and the Netherlands). It was totally awesome, and I've had the travel bug ever since.
Now, I'm just finishing up my undergrad, and like many environmental-studies graduates, I'm looking to put my education and skills into practice. After a little research, I came across the perfect organisation that would marry my willingness to help others with my love for the environment: YCI - the Costa Rica project. So, here I am now!
