I used to work in an international NGO which supported free media in Russia, but was closed down by the authorities in 2006. Presently I am a university teacher and a researcher in Psychology in Moscow. I also volunteer at the psychological English-language library established in Moscow State University thanks to Esalen Institute and the Russian-American Center.
In 2007 I defended a PhD thesis on the relationship between alienation and loss of meaning. I have been studying existential psychotherapy for three years to understand more about what makes a life fulfilled and find out ways to help people live better.
