 About Me |
Kate graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Public Health and Health Promotion in 2005.
Whilst completing her degree Kate became involved in the issue of AIDS through the newly founded Youth Empowerment Against HIV/AIDS (Y.E.A.H) in Melbourne, which led her to the International AIDS Conference held in Toronto in 2006.
Since graduating Kate has been traveling around the world, and has relocated to New York to work with Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS as an intern. Kate looks forward to increasing her knowledge of HIV/AIDS and its impact globally whilst learning skills to help stop the spread of this preventable disease.
