 About Me |
My name is James Karongo Kuria. I am 20 years old. I completed my secondary education at Menengai high school in the year 2006 and I am waiting to join college soon. I was a peer counselor in high school. I joined REPACTED (Rapid Effective Participatory Action in Community Theatre Education and Development) the following year where I am now the Outreach Coordinator. I have gained skills in report writing, community mobilization and overall project management in terms of writing work plans, budgets, preparing financial reports and monitoring and evaluation of projects. I have also undergone training in peer education, magnet theatre with competency in HIV/AIDS, puppetry, peace building and conflict transformation and a TOT in Magnet Theatre. Recently I was selected as a Focal point in the Youth Peer Education Network in the Rift Valley(Y-PEER).
