 About Me |
I am a young learner and educater who lives in a small city of Nepal. Though Kathmandu is the capital city it isn't properly managed and organised. But people around here are really lovely. I am a Virgo and as my sunshine suggests I am very analytical and hygiene concious. I always like to present myself neat and clean. Set myself orderly and think for the betterment of all the people.
I have volunteered in many social activities when I was in school. I have participated in Visit-Nepal cleaning campiagn. I also have participated in the Traffic week campiagn where I gained more knowledge about the traffic rules and regulations and made other people aware about it too.
As a student in my high school I have participated in many Public Speaking Contest and have been awarded for presenting the speech on "HIV-AIDS - the doom of human race" and "Teenagers in Nepal - the most misunderstood lot"
I am studying Sociology and anthropology as my major subject. I want to become a sociologist. Someone who has the potential to change the social infrastructure to a better level. Bring an end to patriarchy in my country as well as stop people from stigmatising female in every factor.
I used to work in Web Hosting Co.(View Nepal). Though it is not concerned with social work but is doing a very good job to take our country more ahead in web technologies. It has been working for web development, E-commerce Solution & web Hosting activities worldwide.
I also worked in YOAC ( Youth Action in Nepal) a youth based organisation. I am the founder member of this NGO. It works on various youth issues and agendas.
Right now, I am leading a women's organisation to uplift the socio-economic status and self-development capacity of disadvantaged people, especially women.
Our mission is to help foster the growth of independent, educated, self-sufficient, decision-making women, by encouraging self-empowerment.
