Over Mij

I'm a student going into my final year at the university of Durham reading History. I love travelling, journalism and making arty films.

I am interested in volunteerring and working abroad, having spent sone time in Lisbon, Portugal and more recently a boys home for young people from the Bronx based in Irvington, new Jersey. After graduating next year, I would like to spend a year working in Europe/ South America in with an NGO. I love learning languages and am already looking forward to the challenge of working in a completely different environment.

Afterwards, I'd like to an MA in International Relations (though I'm not sure how people find the money to pay for that!). I'm hoping to get a glimpse of what IR is like by working as a team-co-ordinator at the World Youth Congree All the profiles of delegates I've read sounds really interesting and I'm really looking forward to witnessing them bounce ideas off each other.
