About me
Hi everyone!
My name is Jamie Hurrell and I am currently in my third year in the Health Studies and Sociology program at Queen's University. I am hoping to potentially further my education after my undergraduate degree, but ultimately end up in the public health realm somewhere. I currently work at Queen's University as a Residence Don, and volunteer at Revved Up which is an organization that helps people with disabilities work out.
I love meeting new people, making friends, and helping others out. I have volunteered once internationally in the Dominican Republic and I loved it so much that I have been waiting to do it again - and here came my opportunity in Tanzania. I can’t wait to encourage and help those who need it most; and to experience a new culture! This trip will be a great experience and I cannot wait to experience it all!
Thank you in advance to everyone that donates to this cause, I really appreciate it, and the funds are going to the community in Tanzania that I will be volunteering in.
