About me
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with YCI. I live Nova Scotia with my dog Tadeo. I have always had a passion for travelling and seeing the world. In 2011 I took an amazing backpacking trip through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It inspired me to go to University to study development. I graduated in May 2014 from Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor in International Development Studies and Political Science. I have the desire to further my education but first I want to gain some hands on experience. I am a pretty busy person, but in my spare time I like to go for hikes, paint, play pool, spend time with my niece and nephew, and pretty much do anything out doors. I live close to the Bay of Fundy which has some of the highest tides in the world, so every year I go white water rafting. I also love to read and learn about other cultures and history. I look forward to working in Tanzania. It is certainly a great opportunity, and I know it will be a tremendous learning experience.
