I am a passionate about making a difference. I cannot stand still when I see that something needs to be done – which is not always a good thing :) … I am currently working as an International Youth Facilitator at the Earth Charter International Secretariat, located at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace, in Costa Rica. I am a social scientist with a master’s level specialization on development and international cooperation. Before joining the Earth Charter International, I was employed by Plan Finland, one of the country’s largest development NGOs. In addition I have been working for Indian Eco-Village Development –project and interning for grassroots NGOs in Uganda and India. I am also a social entrepreneur running a small online craft business in Finland. I import crafts from East Africa, India and Costa Rica to Finland and collaborate with small NGOs and artisans.
