MY BIO-PROFILE
Ms. Jackline Adhiambo Kowa is a 23 year old female youth advocate with the experience of working with young people in the environment of prevention, care and support on the reproductive health issues, life skills and information that creates awareness. She is currently serving the National Organization of Peer Educators (NOPE) as an Intern in the Youth Peer Education Network (Y-PEER) Program as a Kenyan Focal Point, in this position, she provided assistance in the recently Y-PEER Kenya Launch, promote the network to potential partners and keeping the program progress updated to stakeholders, additionally she is also a competent Trainer of Trainer for various youth programs within NOPE.
Prior to that, she served as a youth leader in the in-school chill program for Population Services International (PSI) in Mombasa, coordinating facilitation for in school youth programe. She also volunteered as a client support staff with Kenya AIDS NGOs Consortium; USAID funded then IMPACT Project in Mombasa under the Community Health Information Center, where she assisted in the CD-ROM/Internet searches for medical information and manning the HIV and AIDS Resource Center. She is currently a diploma student in Public Relations with the University of Nairobi.
