About Me

I am a student from Tanzania, who's really in to Social works but also Volunteerism Activities.
I am also interested in Graphic design, Motion Graphics and the whole production process.
I have served as the Chairperson of the JUNIOR COUNCIL OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA for 2 years, A African UNICEF Youth Ambassador For 1 year and also a member of the SPEAK AFRICA YOUTH FORUM.

I have been working as a Peer Educator on HIV/AIDS and life skills emphasizing behavior change to Youth, also I have already done plenty successful projects of which some have been screened both in international Television such as ZDF and DW both from Germany.

In addition to these projects, I have also worked with different Radio station since 2006 raising awareness on Children right and Responsibilities.

I am a Founder and Director of JUNIOR 9 FOUNDATION, The Foundation started in 2007, with a purpose of making a positive change that impacts the life of children, young people and the world. I.e. protecting and developing them. The whole idea of the foundation was birthed after a member attended the J8 meeting in Germany and met with many other young people with the same interest to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people. The discussions in Education, HIV/AIDS, Climate change and economic development in Africa during the J8 meeting were an inspiration to the development of J9 Foundation goal and focus.

Junior 9 Foundation is a non governmental organization which is dedicated to serving children and young people. This group forms the largest proportion of people not only in Tanzania but also in the world. (75% of Tanzanians are young people under the age of 25). Children and young people are also most vulnerable to delinquencies. About half the Tanzanians are under the age of 18, estimated to be about 18 million children .

Young people are affected by unemployment, HIV/AIDS and drug abuse, the children are on the streets and in the orphanages as a result of HIV and AIDS and poverty. However, children and young people are able to organize themselves and foam groups aiming at protecting and assisting each other.
