I have been playing the guitar now for 5 years, and singing before I could even talk. I have been an active member of Roots'n' Shoots for the past 3 years, and I even participated in their youth summit at Cape Cod in 2004. I was asked to perform my original composition about conservationalism and peace for Dr. Jane Goodall as well at the Provincetown Town Hall. I participated in my school's Peace Day celebration by writing and performing a song about peace for the entire school, and also making a giant peace dove with my fellow Roots'n' Shoots members. The arts are a huge part of my life as well. My two most amazing, life changing experiences at teh youth summit trip were one, of course getting to talk with Dr. Jane Goodall once again, and two, going on my first ever whale watch and seeing one breach!
