I was born and brought up in Shillong (the Scotland of the East) the capital city of the State of Meghalaya (where the clouds come home) in North East India. I went to Loreto Convent School and after my high school graduation, I went to St. Mary's College where I studied economics for 3 years. After completing my bachelor degree, I moved North West to the capital, New Delhi and joined the New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) where I did my Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in marketing.
I did my internship with the Education Development Center Inc. in Boston, USA and Peace Child International in Buntingford, UK. I have traveled to North America, Europe, and Asia and I am looking forward to exploring the other continents. I have a passion for helping young people, but I am also very interested in social and environmental justice. I am running my own company dealing with the supply of liqified petroleum gas (LPG) to Shillong. I am also dealing with LPG home appliances.
