The Inuvik Youth Centre is a non-profit organization that aims to help Inuvik youth gain the confidence, skills, awareness necessary to effectively address the social issues they are facing, while encouraging them to become active, contributing members of their communities. We offer a drop-in space for youth aged 6 to 18 from Monday to Saturday, and receive an average 1,300 youth per month through the same. We combine these drop-in services with programs including: work experience programs, literacy programs, gardening club, athletics, crafts and drug and alcohol awareness programs.
