 About Me |
Emily Hunter is an eco-journalist/ activist from Toronto, Canada that reports from the frontlines of environmental issues and activist movements. She is no stranger to the activist world, over the past eight years she has battled on the high seas to save whales in the Antarctic Ocean and fought against climate change at the UN Copenhagen climate summit. She has hosted and co-produced three TV-documentaries for MTV News Canada on various environmental and social issues, ranging from the Toronto G20 protests to the Canadian Tar Sands. Recently, she released her first book called The Next Eco-Warriors, a collection of short narratives by youth eco-activists around the world telling their stories of a rising movement.
