I have been an engineer with Cisco Systems for over 10 years. One of Cisco's charters is to give back to the community by contributing time or expertise to worthy causes. My assignments and related travel schedule has become so unpredictable, it is difficult to volunteer for opportunities here in Texas. Perhaps someone out there can suggest some ways to give back in South America - particularly Brazil, Dominican Republic or Venezuela where I will likely travel in the coming months.
