About Me   About Me
I am a semi-retired international eduactor and writer. I taught ESL for about 25 years, including 16 in the Middle East. My wife and I served in the Peace Corps in Iran as ESL teachers from 69-71, and we ran and taught in an international school in Arak, Iran, for three more years as employees of Reynolds Metals. I also taught ESL in Saudi Arabia for Aramco in Dhahran from 82-89 and at UAE University in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, from 91-95. Since those days, I worded as an Instuctional Designer till I sustained a traumatic brain injury in 06 when a tree fell on me in our front yard in Boulder, CO. We have moved to Albuquerque, NM, where I write and volunteer. I am the author of The Meaning of the Boulder-Dushanbe Teahouse, as well as The Cheyenne Canon & Broadmoor Guidebook & Almanac.

My interests include connections among the cultures and languages of Iran, the Arabian Peninsula, Spain, and the US Southwest. Please email me if you have inforamtion or interset in this topic.
