About Me

I am a student of Ghana Institute of Journalism and come from Accra, Ghana. I love working with and for children.I am with the Children and Youth In Broadcasting- Curious Minds as a Youth volunteer.A group which advocates the rights of young people.I am a Co-founder and the board Chairman of KetekeNews; a newspaper publishing firm in my school. In 2009, I established a Youth Club which has since been sensitizing my community members on sanitation, education and other related issues.I was one of 14 children who had an official meeting on the state of Ghanaian children with the then Executive Director of UNICEF, Anne Veneman in 2008.I also served as a consultant to UNICEF Executive Board members who came to Ghana this May.I have been a young people’s activist who talk on some radio stations in Accra. I host a radio programme called ‘Momlikoo’ meaning, lets partner to address young people’s issues.The programme is on a state radio station dedicated to the youth.Aside schooling, i have been visiting some deprived communities and schools to teach children on their rights, responsibilities and other matters of concern as part of my volunteer work.I look forward to be a journalist in future.
