George Gachara is a national youth leader of age 22 years; he is a prolific orator and a Pan African Debater in the British Parliamentary Style. Gachara is an authority in matters of Youth leadership and group dynamics, with a great insight on Kenya’s position as relates to Youth leadership development. Gachara is highly Ideological, and creative.

Gachara has been consistent to influence Policy change in Kenya, he was consulted in formulating the Kenya National Youth Policy [Nairobi, 2006], the Daystar University HIV/AIDS & Drugs policy [Nairobi, 2007], Recreating the republic project; Agenda 2020 [Nyeri, 2008], the National Mediation and Dialogue Roadmap [Nairobi, 2008], the MS international Anti- Corruption policy [Arusha, 2008]. Gachara developed a strategic plan for Youth for Conservation [Nairobi, 2007], literature review on the National High school students strike [Nairobi, 2008] as well as Ms International Anti- corruption training curriculum [Arusha, 2008].

George Gachara serves on the boards of several organizations including; Kenya Model United Nations, the Debate Masters Association – Gaborone, Concern Citizens for Peace, Youth for Conservation, Student venture International, the Anti – Corruption Core Competence Team – Great lakes region, Deliverance Churches of Kenya National Youth Impact Committee – Secretary as well as at the National Youth Council steering committee – Ministry of state for youth affairs and sports among others.

Gachara has had a profound contribution the Election Violence Response initiatives, having set up an SMS center that served over 3000 SMS to compliment police recue efforts and mapping of conflict areas. Gachara consulted and advised the mediation and dialogue committee led by HE Kofi Annan on a Youth Relevant National Dialogue Road map, the Political settlement agenda, as well as the post – negotiated Kenya agenda [4]. Gachara has served with many organizations including the British Council & World Bank.

Gachara is a trainer in Managing youth programs, Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Community Development, Media Relations, as well as Effective Youth Leadership. Gachara has been awarded for his national service by the Nation Media Group as GENERATION 45 - SHUJAA Young Champion Award, Servant Leadership Award by Daystar University as well as the AWARD IN THE ORDER OF APPRECIATION by African Union Moot Summit – Makerere University.
