About Me

Greetings to you from Rev.Fr.Sravan Reddimasu, India.
I am very happy to write few lines about the children in St.Bassiano Orphanage.

India is rapidly changing giving room to new situations and most of the times this influence is negatively affecting the rural villages. Alocholism, drug addiction, suicides, serious illeness, cancer, HIV, AIDS have been killing people in the villages. Ad a result many children in the rural villages are becoming orphans. Children suffer malnutrition, illiteracy, poverty, sickness and even become criminals in the process of earning their bread.

It is to this kinf of children that hte diocese of Nalgonda has started an Orphanage to provide children for theiir basic needs, to educate them and make them useful members of society, and to acheive this St.Bassiano Orphanage has emerged as a rescue to the orphans of the diocese.

Having undrestood the needs of underprivilaged and Orphan children of Rural villages. St.Bassiano Orphanage has ventured to support them with possible assistance for their education, nutrition and providing of basic necessities. It will reach out to about 600 unfortunate children from the surrounding villages who have been deprived and depraved of any possibility for education, proper nutrition and clothing. Once the students complete their necessary education and are able get an employment, they will in turn be asked to contribute for the education of other poor students. To feed children everyday we are finding difficult.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support I am personally grateful to you. I appreciate your interestin my mission your generosity, sacrifice and love. It gives me great felling to think you are partner with me in this noble work of educating the poor and orphans.
