Born and raised in Vancouver, it took me a while to realize how beautiful she really is. We've got it all! From mountains to beaches, oceans to ponds, Shaughnessy to Hastings, and most incredible of all, we get Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter distinctively.
I think what really puts this smile on my face is the limitless opportunity I feel buzzing around me in the city of Vancouver. There's so much talent here it blows my mind. A very wise friend used to say "Vancouver is a little Manhattan" referring to the budding entrepreneurs of the West Coast and the hidden wealth that is concentrated here.
There are going to be great things happening right in our backyards. I can feel it. From 2010 and what this tidal wave will carry with it to the increasing awareness on an individual level, there is no denying it. It is time for Vancouver to rise and shine and kick the ol' laid back tude we're all so accustomed to.
