UN clubs is program within YUNA which has been involving students of Secondary Schools in furthering the UN agenda by enabling them in learning and understanding the issues and the work of the United Nations. I have been involved in organizing various events of UN clubs in Tanzania, which among them are; UN clubs sports Bonanza which took place on 15th September 2007 at the playing grounds of Dar Es Salaam University. From October 2007 I was selected by the organizing Committee to be one of the event coordinator for the first UN clubs Annual Summit which took place from 17th to 18th December 2007 at Apeadu Conference Hall in the United Nations Compound Offices in Kinondoni Dar es Salaam. I have been involved in diverse leadership positions since I was in Secondary School. In 2005 I was nominated to be a delegate in the students’ government of Azania Secondary School in Dar es Salaam. In the year 2006 I was appointed to be the deputy minister for news and relations ministry in the students Government of Azania. Again in 2007 I was appointed to be to a minister for Economy and Planning in the students’ government of that particular school. While in School at the mid of 2004 I was elected to be the vice chairperson of a chapter at my school for a Canadian Non-Government Organization dealing with helping youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The organization is known as Aiding Youth for Life (AYL). Form 2006 to 2007 I was elected to be the Secretary General for the Debating Society of Azania Secondary School. In the beginning of 2006 I was nominated to be the Country Representative of HYTES. HYTES stands for Helping Youth through Educational Scholarships. HYTES is a Canadian Non-Government Organization which raises funds in Canada and Provide scholarships to financially Challenged Students in Developing countries particularly East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda) and South America in Guatemala. From December 2007 to March 2009 I was serving as the Coordinator of UN Clubs Tanzania Network as the special programme in the Youth of United Nations Association of Tanzania(YUNA) On 18th April 2009, during the YUNA Annual General Assembly,(AGM) I contested the position of Secretary General and I won. For the time being I'm serving as the new Secretary General of the Youth of United Nations Association of Tanzania.
