About Me

I am a full-time teacher and very interested in TakingITGlobal activities and connections for middle school students. Every year we visit the UN for the International Day of Peace, and the Season of Non-Violence. I am currently involved in a project called Global Neighborhood where we have had an exchange with students from Istanbul,Turkey and Queensland, Australia. I am very interested in connecting students across national borders to communicate and learn about other cultures throught the exchange of personal letters/artifacts, blogging about our school experiences and perhaps even collaborating on joint projects and/or building a collaborative document through wikis to post online in our school website.
