I am a molecular biologist who enjoys impressionist art. I am Canadian, but my parents were born in Italy/Sicily, so i have retained alot of the italian flare (if thats what you want to call it). I love sports, science, and art. I have a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and I am currently working in Berkeley researching Breast Cancer, a topic I have been passionate about for more than 10 years. Eugene Montagna is my pen name for this site, and reflects my Italian heritage, (Eugene is my middle name and Montagna is my mother's maiden name).
