Estephan Nonsoezeoke started his career as a communications engineer with the Navy. Passionate about bridging the technological (and developmental) divide he trained as a satellite engineer graduating with an MSc distinction in satellite engineering from the university of Surrey.
He has worked with the United Nations Peace Operations Training Institute (UN POTI) where his well received thesis advised the UN on a novel play of information communication technology and satellite remote sensing to aid UN operations in infrastructurally underdeveloped regions like Darfur.
He is currently working as a KHTT engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Limited where he is part of a team responsible for developing and testing complex payload and data handling solutions to meet the needs of two satellite missions scheduled for launch in 2010.
He is interested in Geographic Information Systems and (he should being very) fond of travelling. Besides english he is partially fluent in French and Portuguese...comment allez-vous?
