I am studying Strategic Communications at Columbia University. I am planning a youth peace summit in Kenya in April 2009.
I was the Chair of the NGO Committee on Youth of the Conference of NGOs in NY, and executive secretary of "Youth and MDGs; Challenges and Opportunities for Implementation" -- see www.mdgyouthpaper.org.
I am now working on youth and trade, and continue to work on youth and development and gender. I am occasionally a freelance journalist. I work for the Lutheran World Federation at the United Nations in NY.
