Throughout my academic term, I was active in my University as a member of the Federation of Student, in which I was responsible of external communication. I was also CPE's representative at the Federation of Lyon Students. I gained a significant experience in chemistry and process engineering thanks to different work placements in France and in the Netherlands. In addition, I was recently volunteering into a project in a non-profit organization called VIMEX,. This association promotes global solidarity and mutual understanding by giving support to the communities that require volunteer work. The objective of this project was the protection of sea turtles in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. My work in this project involved doing protection tasks, collecting the turtle eggs, seeding them in artificial nests and patrolling the beach during night in order to protect the turtles that arrive to lay eggs. In 2008, I joined the International Youth Council which aims at enpowering the youth worldwide. Within the International Youth Council, I wrote a report on Climate Change's impact on France. Recently, I was a member of the University of Waterloo Sustainabilty Project encourage the University of Waterloo in leading the development of the campus into a healthy and sustainable community - ecologically and socially. We lead project in collaboration with the Plant Operations, the House and Residences, and we organised an event for Earth Hour to sensitize people on Sustainability.
