ECF Mission to work for the improvement of the plight of children and young people in Africa, through information sharing, training, research, education and early intervention. Bridging the gap between theory, policy and practice. OBJECTIVES: ECF as a social justice organisation working with and for children/young people aimed to achieve its mission through the following objectives; The objectives are to; Concentrate on achieving change for children throughout Africa. Establish and network with existing children’s help-lines to facilitate experience sharing and mutual support in order to reach out more effectively to children. Promote the protection of children’s dignity and interest. Promote social justice for children and young people in Africa. Work in partnership with government agencies, NGOs, private organisations and interested entities to ameliorate plight of children in their communities/families. ECF has just opened a Women and Children Rights Information Center that offers Women and Children Free access to modern ICT (especaily internet and computer) facilities that a s means of improving thier plights and improving their livelihood.
